@Desertdi. I noticed it's supposed to be Really chilly in Phoenix; are you freezing?  We had a high of 30° today, 9° last night.  I believe 6° is predicted for tonight.  It won't get above freezing until late next week.

I, of course have the heat on, the Duraflame heater on and have blocked the drafty dog door.  I've got a blanket over my lap and legs, microfleece robe on.  I'm cozy.

@Kachina624   OOOOO.......YES........I am freezing!    Got down to 33.1° this morning, and will even be lower by next week.    I am wearing leggings under palazzo pants, two sweaters and a vest, and a babushka in the house (my ears are like ice cubes).    My heat pump iced over this morning and was blowing cold air.    Thank heaven for the Duraflames!

I "thought" that since we had such a brutal summer, we might have a mild winter.     Have my outdoor spigots, and tender shrubs covered for the first time in 3 years.    Not nearly as COLD as your weather, tho.    Happy New Year!   di

@Desertdi   Hope the cold doesn't kill all of your beautiful bouginvilla.  I know it's very sensitive to cold.

It's getting down to 10 BELOW in Alamosa tonight. Here in CS not as cold tonight...about 15 above. That's cold enough.

@Kachina624   My bougies are up to the roof.......and a real PAIN (with the thorns) to prune.    Maybe a freeze will be a "favor".............

@SilleeMee.  My dentist had an office manager who went to Adams State in Alamosa.  She was on the track team and loved to tell how they were out before dawn in sub-zero temps in training.
