@ECBG , Can't find your previous posts about your mouse since I can't remember his name to search on.  Just thought I'd let you know I just caught my mouse, or another mouse again.  I noticed the cat really interested in a small piece of furniture.  I pulled it away from the wall, but I still needed to get a flashlight to see the thing, so it wasn't moving much.  It did try to run away once I started trying to catch it with a tupperware container.  I took it out to the fence and when I let it go, I had to kinda push it to get it to go under the fence to the other side.  Hopefully, it doesn't find it's way back.  Queso is still over there looking for it.

So, how is your mouse doing?  Did you release the female and babies?

@Icegoddess   I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but if you released this mouse on your property (or the other side of the fence as you said), he will be back.  You need to take him far away and let him go.

@Citrine1 I was in my PJ's so walking around my back yard was as far as I was willing to go at the time. I didn't have a good place to house it until I could shower and get dressed.  There are other houses around for it to go to.

Oh I get it @Icegoddess .  It's not always convenient to have to drive a few blocks away to drop off a mouse!  We had a stubborn little fellow that refused to leave our house once.  Fortunately, he is now long gone.  Hope yours doesn't come back.
