@ECBG   Just curious, I hope you remember, last holiday season you shared a picture of santa on horse with a lantern crafted by a talented artist in Minnesota, I believe.

I remember you stated you were going to purchase the item.  I was fascinated with it and thought it was so neat.  Did you ever buy it?

In any event, I saved the info and bought the piece from a store the artist sells to because, according to her site, anything ordered now is not available until 2024.

I was blown away when it arrived.  It is absolutely beautiful and so well crafted.  You can definitely see why it takes so long to make.

I'm so glad you got what you wanted!  I'm still in the search (kind of), lol!  Could you post a picture and refresh my memory please?

@ECBG   It is amazing how you post something here, randomly, that might just be the thing someone really wanted or enjoyed.  You just never know!

Thanks for posting last year!

@Mersha

This is the one I want.  The artist had it for sale several years then kept it.  Now her reindeer are straw which doesn't do a thing for me.

@Mersha

Bless your heart!  Through you I just found the perfect santa for me!

I have loved the Arnett country santas for years, but they go can for over $1,000 when they put them on ebay.  Between THAT situation and being very upset that I couldn't get the designer to sell that piece nothing worked for my house of primitive furniture!  I was google imagining and your santa came up which I thought was Arnett!  The designer is "Michelle".  I got the companion to yours but with a candle mold which I have a professional collection of!  Michelle has the face Arnett is using!  I like it more than all of the others!  (and it wasn't $1,000!).  I can't thank you enough!

If you'd like to see my house in Christmas  from a few years ago, go under "Here's My Country Christmas".

@ECBG   I am so happy you found a Santa that would work for you from Michelle.  We both helped each other!

I will check out your Country Christmas.

Strange how this all worked out, huh? Smiley Happy

I have made a few changes.  The green angel in the dining room has been changed to this deer.

Our DILove was thrilled to get one of Valorie's first angels.  Nothing like that angel is available here!

(BTW) Balsam Hill, the faux tree people sell a box of sample tree branch ends which are wonderful to decorate with!  My hands don't get scratched up and it isn't all over the carpet like dried real!

I just made this arrangement for fall in a "winter" color palette)
