@ECBG , Can't find your previous posts about your mouse since I can't remember his name to search on.  Just thought I'd let you know I just caught my mouse, or another mouse again.  I noticed the cat really interested in a small piece of furniture.  I pulled it away from the wall, but I still needed to get a flashlight to see the thing, so it wasn't moving much.  It did try to run away once I started trying to catch it with a tupperware container.  I took it out to the fence and when I let it go, I had to kinda push it to get it to go under the fence to the other side.  Hopefully, it doesn't find it's way back.  Queso is still over there looking for it.

So, how is your mouse doing?  Did you release the female and babies?

@Icegoddess

It seems the thread was "Meet Stumpy and Sadie Lou".

We can identify Stumpy because the mean mice took away part of his tail, hence the name "Stumpy".

We're still in the "mouse saga"!  Stumpy and Sadie Lou have turned 3 litters of 3 little ones, and DH didn't think it right to put them out in the heat with closed eyes.

Stumpy was moved to the other aquarium and Sadie Lou brought the first 2 litters up to open eyes and fur.  That group has been let out in the woods, as Stumpy was, but he made his way back after being out away so far!

Stumpy is still in a separate aquarium, Sadie Lou is raising litter 3.

I'm thinking we're going to have to drive a block before he's turned out again!  (They sense heat to find your house).

@Icegoddess

I thought DH was going to keep him!  I guess the maintenance of the aquarium was a pain, then, there's mouse chow.

Forgot to tell you when Stumpy came back the other day, he immediately got on his hamster wheel and "went to town"!

@ECBG I would feel so responsible for him after that.

I just stand there, look at DH, and shake my head!

I thought Shadow enjoyed looking at him!

@ECBG  Queso has finally calmed down and is napping.  He kept going back to that corner looking for his friend.  I really don't think he would actuallly kill it.  He doesn't even kill the giant roaches that get in the house.....Blech!

I'm sure Queso can smell the mouse's scent.

@ECBG probably, but interestingly, my blind cat has no interest.  He did go sniff the corner after I moved the furniture piece, but that is normal.  Whenever I take out the recyclables I come in to Houdini sitting in the spot where the box had been.

@Icegoddess   I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but if you released this mouse on your property (or the other side of the fence as you said), he will be back.  You need to take him far away and let him go.
