Yeah she posted a scathing post to Amazon about it to Amazon.

She was mad they delivered it to a burned down home.

How is the driver supposed to know someone wasnt meeting there for it and why didnt her in-laws change their address?

Its not likely that it was ordered before the fires if it was Amazon. They probably wouldve gotten just as mad if it wssnt delivered.

She could have contacted them without the whole country knowing. 🙄

I guess Amazon is apologizing but they said it was left by a third party. She is known for complaining so probably had a note on her account "deliver no matter what". She also wrote a letter that said she had no warning of a fire and did not get an evacuation notice until the last minute. Completely caught her off guard. We were all told the Santa winds were going to be hurricane force and to be prepared for fire and evacuation. It surprises me how some people blame everything on someone else and don't take a little responsibility.

@simplyfriends She had no warning? The whole country knew about the fires the moment they started. I'm a native of So.Cal. and the Santa Ana winds are nothing to underestimate. I'd bet someone says "oh that B word" when they see her name on anything!

So what was Amazon suppose to do if the customer didn't use another delivery option?

I can't begin to imagine what residents who lost their home are going through. They were smacked with the reality that some things are out of our control. That includes when we get deliveries.

Anyone who is smart enough to pass a driver's license test should be smart enough to do some checking before delivering to a burned down home.

I'd probably blurt it to the world too. That was not a smart move, no matter how high or low the IQ.
