Pacific Northwesterners: Moving to Portland in a Year. How should I buff up my wardrobe?

We're moving to Portland in a year and I know I need to be prepared for cold, wet weather. Question is, in the next year, what should I plan on purchasing for my wardrobe?

I only have 2 wool sweaters, with the remainder being cotton or cotton/rayon mix. Have half a dozen turtlenecks. Usually wear jeans on weekends. However, I do have several really warm coats and boots which should work. Probably need to get foulies.

Any advice greatly appreciated. Thank you!
