If I had my druthers I’d have it set at 4.  I’m on my IPad so I can pinch in and out.  I don’t want to go to the trouble of changing the font size every time I post unless I’m posting with someone who has vision problems and has asked that we use an increased font size or posting a recipe.

If the font is too big, too bold or someone uses all those wacky colors, I usually skip over it.

When I’m on my phone, I just pinch my screen in and out

@Bri36.  That's just the thing. Now that they did the upgrade, I can no longer pinch my screen on IPad in or out.

@Shanus@proudlyfromNJ

i like a 5...That would only pertain to me reading others’ of course.

No pinching/expanding any more at this point.

@proudlyfromNJ, I didn’t know that about the iPad.   This site was never iPad friendly though.   That’s too bad

That’s weird.  My iPad still responds to me pinching the screen.

I usually use size #3 but occasionally go daring with #4.

@tansy.  I have an older IPad which no longer accepts anymore IOS updates. I have a feeling that is the problem, although this is the only website with the pinching problem! Oh well.

Guess I should have asked how many votes make the majority?

I don't think this is something that posters can set a rule for. People post however they like. We have the option of reading what we choose and ignoring what we don't

@Ms tyrion2

Amen, sister!

Why anyone would think it's up to them to make everyone agree on a font size, or how many votes would be needed .... good grief.   I think people can make up their own minds.

(How do people have the time to come up with this silly stuff, anyway?)

@Tinkrbl44  I was asking which size is easier for the majority to read...not establishing a ruling. BTW, your bold print is quite distracting and sometimes I skip over the post.

@Shanus

LOL .....   oh, brother.

While I'm not sure why my print is so "distracting", you go right ahead and skip over my posts.  Honestly, I really don't care.

You know you can go into settings on your computer/tablet/phone and increase the size of the print on everything on your device. So if you have vision issues that would be what you should do.

Why would you assume that EVERYONE ELSE should change their print size to accommodate your vision issues instead of YOU increasing it on your device to accommodate your needs?

@151949  I read on 125% but with that, there is no search box now that Q messed up the format, in my opinion.

Re: PRINT SIZE PREFERENCE

[ Edited ]

I'm fine with the default, which I believe is set to #2. I usually increase it to #3 since I understand all too well about vision problems that many deal with.

I have to skip over many of the brightly colored fonts of any size on the high definition iPad Mini, because those can trigger ocular migraines in me. Even though I have turned the brightness level way down. Sorry! Nothing personal and no problem scrolling on by without insulting anyone's personal posting preference. That's my problem to deal with.

The sizes and colors do definitely vary per devices used everywhere on the internet. While these changes are occurring here at QVC, it's truly a jumbled mess.

Worst of all though is the new sliding banner that is not only a distraction, but it leaves me with about 2” of reading space between it and my onscreen keypad. I feel like I’m texting here!

The answer is simple. If you want everyone to read your posts, you will have to increase the size of the print. Even younger people have eye issues and can't handle the smaller priint. And us older ladies have constant problems with the small letters. So we skip over your posts - not to be mean, but just to avoid frustration. Is it really such a big deal to make your print a bit larger and be more "inclusive"?

I think a person who has vision issues would need everything on her computer to be larger so it makes more sense for that person to go into her settings and increase the size of EVERYTHING that is on her screen than every other person to increase what they post to accomodate her vision issues.

Isn't that just simple common sense?
