I saw that.  It didn't surprise me because they all meet hundreds of people a week and it seems like they don't wear masks.

He's tripled vaxed and had Covid before.  Hopefully he should have a certain amount of protection, i.e. from severity . . .

I personally know people who were vaxed and boosted and wore masks and got hit this latest round.  Their bouts were unpleasant but less severe than those I knew who had gotten Covid earlier.

Do the math.

My brother and SIL tested positive again; just had the virus in August.   They have been vaccinated and wear their masks in public.

A few folks we know, (grouped together at a family event) from what we've heard, were fully vaccinated and still contracted it.  Fairly strong symptoms, etc., (third hand information).

I guess it depends on our individual physical systems.

@ROMARY Those are the stories we're hearing especially from older friends.

Seems like if you got Delta, you can still get Omicron.

Charles needs to be more careful.

Sooner:  The ones we know of I believe are in their 40's, 50's.  Maybe a couple are in their 30's.  Not sure about the actual ages, but for sure, none of them are seniors.

I'll have to ask and find out the specifics.  As I said second/third hand info.  But fairly reliable, keeping in mind normal exaggerations.

[ Edited ]

Omicron is much more contagious than the older strains. It's 4.2 times as transmissible as Delta.* There has also been such a high infection rate in many places. I hope The Queen does not get it from Charles.
