Personally, I've always thought Charles was an arrogant idiot, so this doesn't surprise me at all.

I don't think Prince Charles is an idiot. I think he was a man deprived of the woman he loved and made to marry someone he didn't. I have no doubt that it was common practice to have a mistress and even encouraged. His great grandfather did and his great great grandfather did. Thank goodness the laws changed and he was able to marry who he wanted in the end. Not sure Diana cared much for her husband or the royal family. Her lifestyle contributed to much embarrassment and I believe her death. Regardless of any press article, William loves his father as he did his mother and I am sure Charles will be a part of George's life being he is third in line to the throne.
