Re: PRIMARY PHISICAN VS. DENTAL CARE

Most dental coverage is minimal so that requires more out of pocket costs which is lucrative for dentists.  That's a problem in our country. Also for years, if not decades, dental coverage didn't exist and people didn't attend to their teeth. Now, it's a world of corrective care, and more which is more than the cost of putting a roof on my house.

Something very wrong there!

4 implants and 1 extraction $11,000. My regular dentist-insurance paid NOTHING said it was cosmetic. In the back of my mouth?

@IMW       I am JUST GUESSING ... but I kinda figured the "specialists" were ignoring my VERY SERIOUS CONDITION....because they "thought" I was just looking for pain killers and didn't want to jeopardize their medical licenses.     If that infection had gone to my brain, I'd be DEAD.    di

I'll never understand why Dental is not covered under your health insurance.

It's part of your body . Your eyes , nose , feet , skin , etc are covered !

Re: PRIMARY PHISICAN VS. DENTAL CARE

I lost dental coverage six months ago, and have been looking into what's available out there. It almost doesn't seem worth it for what they will cover/pay. After reading some of these costs! I guess every bit helps.

@Pink123So what?  Who cares?  Primary Care Physcians are retiring for a lot of reasons.  What's your point?
