I works., .but it is too expensive for what it is. I make it myself for a lot less.

To eight ounces of water, I add 10 drops each of Lemongrass, Grapefruit and Bergamont essential oils and shake.

Sometimes I use other essentials oils that are to my liking for a different scent.  I refill the Poo-Pourri bottles that I already have.

this sounds like a great idea for me....Poo-Pourri does work but I am very, very sensitive for all their scents,  I have tried 3 different ones and they all make he sick, sinus and a headache... I am trying your idea...I can take vanilla...not sure about other ones you listed?

I have seen them sold at CVS for a larger size bottle for 9.99, which is great I can get it same day and no s&h.

Some of the bottles leak from the cap.  I think these should have come with an eye dropper instead. It's always something with qvc.   On the subject of the XO product, I purchased that once and while I didn't like its odor it might be just as affective spraying it into the toilet bowl as poo pouri - don't remember if it had an oil base though.

Maybe controlling bathroom smells works with any type of oil you place into the bowl - coconut oil, wesson oil, canola oil.  I would rather have zero smell than a flowery manufactured one anyway.

I am with you, all the Poo-Pourri scents make me ill,  I am very sensiteve to scents, especially flower perfume ones....I love vanilla,  I wonder is just straight vanilla oil would do the trick for me...

I have mixed vanilla oil and orange oil.. smells clean and fresh.  I'd like to try vanilla and cinnamon oil  sometime.  My powder room would smell  like a bakery,  that would be different, for sure.

My daughter has scent-sevities too, especially with flowery scents.  She does better with the fruit scents.

Mine hasn't arrived yet, but I chose the Lavender Vanilla. I like both scents, so whichever one is primary is fine with me. I decided I would NOT want a sweet, sweet flowery scent. To me, nothing screams "nasty bathroom smells here!" than a very sweet flower smell masking it.

Considering that people in reviews complain about how strong and long-lasting the scent is, and the company says to use 4-5 sprays, I honestly think more people would be fine with it if they used 2-3 sprays and that faded in a few minutes.

When I used the drops I never used more than 2 drops and it "took care of things." A spray would coat a larger surface area of water much faster. I think 4-5 sprays is overkill because the company wants you to use it up faster. JMO.

Does qvc sell the drops?  I've never seen them here or anywhere.  Anybody know?

No, it would be competition for Poo Pourri.

Both CVS and Walmart sell One Drop, the most common one.

Google "deodorizing drops."

Not that I've seen, @truffle. Not on their website either.

I think everyone should test the theory that any oil will capture the poo and lessen odor. Get out your oils ladies!!  Your coconut oil, your argan oil.  Please tell us what works!! Smiley Very Happy

and your wesson oil and canola oil too.  lol
