Re: PEDICURES........ SAFE OR NOT ?

I don't want my feet in a a foot bath that 1,000's have used. How clean is the item where they soak your feet?

Re: PEDICURES........ SAFE OR NOT ?

Never had a pedicure OR a manicure. But my daughter would get manicures and one time there was yukky stuff under her nails like fungus and she quit getting them.

Anyway.... I bite my finger nails. I tried letting them grown but they break. I cut my own toe nails and put polish on sometimes but not a lot (who looks at your feet? lol. No one!). My feet stay soft too, because I always wear booty socks to bed. So why do I need a pedicure? Waste of money.

Well Im not high maintenance period! lol

They clean them out with bleach in between people.

I always make sure I am the first customer of the morning.

I have been getting monthly pedis for 10 years now - same technician - with no problems. I bring my own tools too.

I had a pedicure yesterday-used Essie Pansy. My husband would definitely notice my feet and the lack of a pedicure. Lol. I have been getting one every 4 weeks For over 20 years.

I have had my mani-pedi done at the same shop for ten years by the same tech. It is a question of a clean business, and clean tools.

Re: PEDICURES........ SAFE OR NOT ?

I had a pedi today. I certainly hope I don't get any fungus.

They are quite common.

I hear of them from salons far more than health clubs/gyms.

The creams are very nice, as is the pumice stone, and relatively inexpensive. The insoles work very well in my shoes/sneakers, too.
