I think it is based on the book The Emperor of All Maladies. I'll be looking for it the day after on the pbs roku channel.

I have been watching the whole program so far. It is very interesting and educational. Yes, it is based upon that book. Since I have recently been diagnosed with cancer, am even more interested than ever before.

I'm planning to watch it tomorrow on my Roku. It's too heavy a subject for me this late in the day.

Yes, it is pretty heavy......but I go to bed every night with it in my body....... And, I am fighting this thing like crazy. I want to win this battle 100%.......

I received notice from The D Susan Love Breast Cancer Research center, this would be on tonight. I live in No Cal, and have DISH Satellite and it will air at 9pm on channel 9 But When is part 2 and 3? I am a cancer survivor, and I have heard from many sources this is a well done documentary.

I really wanted to watch Dr Susan Love, she will be talking about breast cancer and the new research

The next 2 shows will be tomorrow and the next night.

Congratulations on your being a survivor. My sister is a 5 year survivor also, and has an appointment with her oncologist tomorrow for her checkup. She just had her mammogram on the left side and it was good. She was scared before she had the results.

Hopefully I will be able to say I am a survivor too.

Tonight's show was wonderful. Am glad I watched the whole thing...
