@shoekitty  - I was watching the news at noon today and every news station I tuned into had interviews or messages to share of those who knew Ozzy and they all had the same thing to say about him, that he was one of the nicest guys they knew, so pleasant, caring and so down to earth.  Rest in eternal peace, Ozzy, you will be missed by so many.

@SoCal Bred , I am 77, and my music is a little different. Although I loved the Toadies and some of Nirvana, Ozzie was never on my music list. I am more Bob Dylan as everyone knows, lol.  So when I heard about this new reality show thru my SIL, I I was a taken back. I was like , huh.?  Why!!!  They were the first, new concept.   But everyone who worked with him loved him. He was like everyday people, and just laid back and kind. Sharon as well, although she steered the ship. My one daughter knew their son, and really like him as well.  Their oldest daughter at the time, Aimee, lived in England and refused to be in tv show. Shy, and way more private.  And my SIL rarely saw the kids except at filming.  He will be missed by many.  They have tons of friends. They were truely innovators. Sharon dreamt up this whole idea of reality shows. Everyone thought she was crazy, lol. Look at television now!!!

he was quite a character.  What many don't know how sweet and kind he was.at heart.  My SIL worked on the Osborne's  way back when on the first reality show, and the show was shot from the hip. They didn't even know if it woukd be picked up.  Reality shows hadn't been done like that ever, and network was iffy.  But they did several episodes, and saw show sky Rickey.   My SIL worked for months up there, and hated to leave. They moved all equipment into their old house, and filmed for weeks. I think when they built moved into new place, the crews changed.  Ozzie was so kind to my SIL and everyone.  A little inept at tech stuff, so my SIL got to know him a bit helping him with a few things like the TV and satilite lol.  Sharon and the family as well. Although he didn't see them much.  They were a really loving, normal family actually. Just with fame and a little money.  I know his family is grieving deeply. For that I am sorry.

@shoekitty I loved the show!  It was hilarious and he seemed like a sweet guy.

@shoekitty Yes it was certainly different at the time!  I got a kick out of Ozzy trying to deal with everyday family & pet life!

@shoekitty It's an understatement to write that he was a character.  He was over the top.  RIP Ozzy!  He was fortunate to have Sharon in his life.  Prayers to his family!
