Sad, yes, but suicide by this method is not uncommon.  Why single out this particular man?

Because he's pretty famous around the St. Louis area -- his restaurant is very popular.

Thanks for the reply.  The number of suicides in this country is staggering.  I think it's the 10th cause of deaths.
