If I don't hear "hunker down" one more time, I'll shed no tears. It makes my skin crawl. I guess if you're in a foxhole, it makes sense.

"That being said" or "with that said"- sentences absolutely don't need those added to it. You've already said what you wanted to say. You don't need to add those.

"Spot on"- for some unknown reason, I really don't like this one.

"it's all good"- no, sometimes it really isn't.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

"The American people want ... ." No one knows what every American citizen wants, and I doubt there is a single issue where every one of us wants the same thing. I'd prefer the more honest "I want ... ."
