Fur baby.  It gives me the creeps every time it is used.  

It evokes an image of furry human babies, which is bad enough, but it also reminds me of those stuffed animals that they used to make with smooth human baby faces.

I would say "well" at the start of sentences.  When I really thought about how I talked, I broke the habit.  Most of us don't even realize how we sound unless someone points it out.  I find if I shorten my sentences, I don't put the extra's in.

it doesn't make me scream but I've never liked we have a lot of tools in the tool kit
