Re: Over-Used Phrases That Make Me Scream!

I didn't read this whole thread, but for me, lately everything seems to be,"so you don't have to worry," or "no worries." I don't worry about small things like fitting lids on lock'n'locks (who seems to use that one a LOT.)

If we are talking about over used expressions used on QVC... do what I do... Don't watch.  I just check in "whenever" and if I want something I check reviews or the forum for more ideas.

I only got halfway through this thread, so if this phrase has already been stated, ignore mine.  "At the end of the day...."

Re: Over-Used Phrases That Make Me Scream!

I notice people interviewed on TV begin to answer questions with "I mean . . ."

I hear it every day more than once.  It seems an odd way to begin an answer where meaning is not in question because they've not even begun to respond to the actual question.

@on the bay   I had to laugh at this one! Smiley Very Happy  There's one host who says that word all throughout her presentations, and I'm sure half the time she isn't even listening to what the rep said.  It's used just to fill the air, absolutely

But it doesn't bother me, I just find the quirks funny.
