The constant overuse of "actually" and "literally" by hosts and vendors. (MarkCharles especially).

When people start every sentence with: "SO. . . " SO WHAT?
No, it's a word not a phrase, but people say it al the time now.
So, does it bother you???? ![]()

I can understand thinking that "Hope that helps" sounds like, "Now that I explained it to you, do you understand now, idiot?"
Ok, but it doesn't mean that and I've never seen it used in a way that would imply that. I guess taking something innocent and turning it into something snarky is just one of those internet things.
Thanks for your input!
@chickenbutt My take is that if people are miffed by HTH and "no problem" in this world we live in how, the days must be long and difficult for them.

"We'll See"... Got a good chuckle with this one. We used to say that to the Kids. "Can we go...?" "Can we get...?" We would tell them - "We'll See" and the one who asked, would run back and scream to their siblings - "Mom/Dad said NO!"

I watch Judge Judy & she gets so annoyed when the plaintiffs/defendants can't talk properly. Especially when they use "like" & that happens a lot. "She was like and he was like and I was like" ugh! Also annoying when these people start a story with "Well, basically"..... JJ will interject with, "I don't want to hear BASICALLY!" Watching JJ shows me how much people use unnecessary filler words & phrases. Another example of this is people will say, "Well, to be honest"....to which JJ will interject sarcastically with "No, I want you to lie to me!" LOL

That one doesn't bother me at all. I think it is interesting to see what annoys some and not others.
