People stopped and grabbed all the money they could....
my question is......Would YOU help yourself to the money?
I would not. Not my money.

I would 'help' pick it up and give it back....cannot imagine keeping the money.

My husband and I had this very conversation last night. I wouldn't take a cent of it. I might help gather it up but I'd hand it right back to the driver or whoever it should go to. I once found a hundred dollar bill in a drugstore. I handed it to the cashier. I figured if they kept it and could put their head on their pillow at night, that's their business. The drugstore called me the next day and said the person came back and couldn't believe someone returned it. She wanted my address to thank me because she said she needed that money to pay bills. I was glad she got it back but I didn't want a thank you note. I believe in heaven and it's not worth it to me to have a guilty conscience for the rest of my life. No amount of money is worth it

I couldn't keep it.
I wouldn't even stop
I would feel like it's cursed, that if I kept it and spent it, bad things would come my way.
But I don't care what someone else does, it's on them & their conscience.

Da.mn fools.
People stopped on a freeway....a busy New Jersey freeway...
got out of their cars, risking their lives, risking everyone
else’s safety....and causing a least TWO accidents.
It’s a miracle no one was killed.
All the people who got out & didn’t return the money?
There are tons of cameras e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e on a heavily travelled
freeway, like this. Depending on the amount ‘stolen‘,
authorities will most likely be knocking on their door asking
for $$$ to be returned.
What would I do? Just keep driving.

They will find you, and you will see bars.
No I wouldn't take it.

@sidsmom. You never get out of your car on a NJ highway. Yes, I saw all the dopes running around route 3 causing accidents on the news. Ridiculous

Getting out of a car on a busy freeway. Speaks for itself. Genius idea.

Yes! You would know all about NJ!
Are they reporting any details on a local level which we haven’t heard about? THREE accidents...it increased. Amazing no one was killed.
Tell us more...

I think it would be kind of fun to help gather it up, but I wouldn’t keep it. My efforts would somewhat prevent others from taking what wasn’t theirs.
