I just read this story and can't believe the greediness of this man. He lives in Michigan. He won a $2 million lottery. He was collecting food stamps. He reported the winnings to the state and they told him because the money is considered liquid assets and not income, he can still collect food stamps. He says he is going to continue collecting food stamps and doesn't care what anyone thinks. One question: why does the government collect income taxes on lottery winnings if they're liquid assets? Both can't be true. This man is dispicable.
