@dodies   Oh wow what a coincidence now I know the fire will be put out fast  tell him to let you know how Ben Lomond is doing - yahoo thank you to your son.  Be safe.

Couldn't agree more, firefighters are amazing they put their lives on the line everytime they fight fires so thankful we have them.

 

I have 2 co-workers that lost their homes, they evacuated and are safe. They are now trying to figure things out.

 

Last night on the local news they spoke to a fire fighter who has a team of 3 fire trucks from New Jersey, working in the Boulder Creek, Felton, Ben Lomond Bonney Doon areas, many states are here, thank you.  It took the New Jersey crew 3 days to drive from New Jersey to California.  I don't understand why the Air Force couldn't fly their equipment and crew to Travis Air Force Base.  Travis is close to the Solano fire and about a 2 hour drive to the Santa Cruz Mountains, it would have saved all that time lost on the road, they have those huge transport planes just an idea.
