Just an excuse to bash Oprah.

ITA.

I can never understand why some see the invisible negative.

She embodies so many of the...”underdog” type of stereotypes

so many people love to blame stuff on:

woman,

African American,

overweight,

older,

single,

came from poverty,

physically abused in her youth...

but yet....she dusted off ALL of them all to be such a

positive influence, and of course, not just successful

but highly successful.  Is she perfect? Of course not,

but there’s something to be learned with her life story.

I have not seen anyone bash Oprah, just people leaving comments regarding a discussion that was started here.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, what I see is posters bashing other posters. How sad is that?

While I believe Oprah is naturally beautiful and hasn’t had work done she has aged like the rest of us have even though that picture doesn’t show it.I have always admired Oprah so not bashing her.I like that she is real and that she doesn’t pretend to be perfect so I don’t understand the reason for those touched up photos.I like Oprah just the way she is as much as I like the photographers impression.

Just my humble opinion, but the photo does not look much like Oprah, unless it was taken 20 years ago!! ??  I used to watch her show faithfully and have seen makeup that changes her look dramatically, but there is just something about this photo that doesn't look much like her!!!   Maybe my eyesight is going!

Gorgeous picture but a lot of work and smoke&mirrors went into that.  We saw Oprah at the royal wedding, that's the real Oprah.

Seeing as I just had my eyes examined by a doctor for no less than 90 minutes (2 weeks ago) I know for a fact there is nothing wrong with my vision.

I look at the photograph and see Oprah, not someone who looks like Oprah.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

Beautiful photo, artfully done - as are the O magazine covers.  I always see the magazine at the checkout stand and think, oh she looks so pretty in that picture.
