I think Casey grew up being worshipped by Mom and Dad, older brother Lee.
Along comes a little girl...Caylee, getting all the attention that Casey used to.... loving this grandchild, and niece by Casey's family is an extension of their love for Casey, I doubt Casey saw it that way....apparently Casey became jealous of Caylee, starting with the day Caylee was born.
Cayleemade it easy for Casey to manipulate her family, all Casey's wants and needs are handed to her on a silver platter, and Caylee was provided for and worshipped by her grandparents, and would grow up the same as Casey did.
The lying....could it have started with Casey being told not to tell dad about a shopping trip, hanging with friends that dad did not approve of, but tell dad Casey was with so and so that dad did approve of... Dad and Mom not on the same page when it come to parenting, Casey has now learned how to manipulate her parents.
Yes, Casey learned to lie at a young age from her mom, but why have matters been kept from George, what would George have done if he knew about money spent, who Casey hung out with and etc.
Did Casey feel like she did not have the freedom she wanted, now having a small child to take more of her freedom away ? Did having freedom require the need for money.. sure so she steals from family and friends, without consequences for her actions.
So many boyfriends for Casey, was this a cry out for attention from her dad ?
Now Caylee is missing, giving Casey the attention she demands, Casey knows the truth Caylee is dead, she pushed her luck to far this time, to much Cholroform and masking tape to double insure the child would die.
Casey has her freedom now...tattoo..dancing...partying...more than 1 boyfriend...Living The Good Life.
Now the trial....I am beginning to think that George, Cindy, Lee have been playing a role in Casey's defense, I think this has been mentioned here before.
The Memorial service for Caylee...the things Lee said, the way Cindy comforted him, as though she were in a movie playing an role.
Mallory, I thought she was overly dramatic in her description of the relationship between Casey and Caylee when she was on the stand. Felt the same way about Cindy, when she broke down, overly dramatic.
George knew about the molestation accusation 3 weeks before the trial, of course it is not true, but the defense must get the reasonable doubt from someplace.
Cindy's lying testimomy about the computer searches for Cholroform and etc., and I thought this family had finally saw the truth, with the attorney saying, they think Casey is not innocent, who says that, people would say she is guilty.
When the visits and calls stopped at the jail, I think this was the beginning of trying to save Casey with the help of her family. The family knows Casey is guilty of maybe accidently over dosing Caylee, the comment she is not innocent comes in to play here.
Casey's family will do whatever is needed from them to save her life.
Thank you for listening to my opinion on this topic...I hope you will give your opinion.
