I was wondering if it would be considered to be tacky or in poor taste to give a gift (to a family member) of something that I may have worn once or twice and didn't like or want for some reason - such as a watch, a purse, a piece of jewelry, a clothing item (only if it had the tags). I still usually keep all of my packaging from purses and jewelry.
I probably will not use these particular items, especially certain fashion watches, but there are some good handbags that I rarely, if ever, use).
What do you think? Thanks.
