Ophelia making her way through the Middle Atlantic.

[ Edited ]

The center of the storm was at 5:00PM in Virginia.  By 2:00AM it will be past Baltimore.  We've had a lot of rain, but not as much as I thought we would.  There were long periods of light rain.  But probably an inch for Saturday.  The storm will officially be over 8:00PM Sunday.  But I think the rain will slack off by 6:00PM.  Yes, the wind has picked up.  Strongest are about 40 mph. And most of the trees are staying upright (hopefully) today and tomorrow. We still have power.  Further South when it hit land, lots of people lost power. Sunday will be a repeat of today.  But lighter in rain. It should end for the U.S. turning to the east in Southern New Jersey and back out to Atlantic. But it could change. Bands of it could hit New York state, but I doubt it will hit further north of PA.  It was rough going to work today.  I really got wet.  Sump pump is holding up!  Technically I don't know if the storm is still a tropical storm or a depression.

It's been pretty dreary today in SE PA.   Lots of rain but not as heavy as I thought it would be.  Hopefully it clears up sometime tomorrow.

I'm in east central Pa and Sat. was a wet. cool, windy miserable day and today isn't looking to be much better. I think this is supposed to last into tomorrow.

I'm in Monmouth County NJ and the rain has been non-stop and the wind is very strong.  Several shore towns have some flooding and sadly a large tree came down on a home in my town injuring a resident.  As of early this morning a lot of people have no power either.  Luckily we do.  I think this storm is supposed to linger around through tomorrow.  Praying it just passes with no more harm to anyone.

It is Sunday morning in Philadelphia and we continue to have a steady rain and cool temperature.  The wind has calmed down but still breezy.  I hope everyone is safe!

@nova ..My DH and I drove from Avalon (in Cape May County) to Northern NJ yesterday.  It rained nonstop.... with periods of really heavy rainfall making it difficult to see..  And it was quite windy. But by the time we got home the rain had become a drizzle and the winds subsided.

I was at a very wet football game in central PA last night.
