@2blonde wrote:It's 65 here today, and will be about 71 tomorrow (Friday). The weekend forecast, however, calls for 30's and 40's and our first snow of the season (lake effect from Lake Erie). I still have flowers blooming on my patio; we haven't even had a frost yet (near the lake). I fear this is the beginning of the end........boo hoo!
I live in the deep South now, but I was a Clevelander for 60 years. You never know what you're gonna get along the Northcoast. I've seen blizzards in April, and I've had Thanksgiving dinner when it was 80 degrees. Cleveland is never boring when it comes to weather. Can't say I miss those never-ending days of gloom and wind, but I miss everything else. Cleveland just made AARP's list of best cities for retirees-- the development downtown and along the lake is amazing. I sound like a member of Cleveland's Chamber of Commerce, but it's true! Hey y'all--visit Cleveland; you will love it!

For some reason it has been chilly here in Florida at night, down to mid 50's though the days have been high 70's. We have the doors and windows open from noon til about 5PM then it starts to cool down and we close up. I haven't been able to go to water aerobics this week due to it being too cold in the mornings to swim.I wore long pants and a sweater to church Sunday morning, whereas normally I would be wearing dress capris and a short sleeve top this time of year.

77 here in Central Indiana and will be 24 degrees Saturday morning after storms go through tomorrow night. Yes, winter is officially here.

@CJC Yes, we did have a great summer in Cleveland this year. I live 20 miles east in Mentor, but in the winter I sometimes wish I lived on the west side where it hardly ever snows. To make matters worse, as a true sports car lover, I drive a Mustang all year (I put my 160 pounds of dumbbells in the trunk for traction)!

I'm in Chicago too, and it's warm out. My husband is going to put the Christmas lights outside today before it gets cold. I dread snow

@151949 That is a bit odd for Florida. I'm betting that when our weather changes to cold, yours will change to warmer!

We are having a Family Reunion there in July of 2017 and I can't wait. We had one there in July of 1999, and we had a blast. Love Cleveland!!!!!

Same here in South Western Ohio. It's currently 72, and supposed to be even warmer tomorrow. Temps start falling tomorrow night and the high for Saturday will be around 1 a.m. with temps falling into the 30s during the day. Calling for rain and snow flurries. High on Saturday is supposed to be about 36. We've had more than a few hard freezes already though, but I still have some petunias in bloom and while I was clearing away the leaves and dead stems from my perrenial bed, I found my Salvia was in bloom!
Two years ago, we had snow on the ground. A white Thanksgiving ![]()

It's been muggy and warm here in SF for the entire Indian Summer.
It's finally cooling down as of today and we are expecting rain and a week in the low to mid 60s.
As most people know, we can sure use that rain, let's hope it's more than we've been getting every time the weather reporter says it will be a good rain and it turns out to be a dud.

Yes, you are in the snow belt in Mentor. My son works in Willoughby and has a tough commute in the winter months. I lived south, Brecksville area, but we got our share of snow too. West side gets much less...location location location. I used to drive a huge Mercury station wagon that was terrible in the snow. When parked for awhile I always had to pull out the carpet from the tailgate area and place it under my rear wheels to back out of a parking spot.
