@kelsey17   I loved CCR too. I played Cosmo's Factory all the time. If you are familiar with the album cover, you see the plaid flannel shirts and farmer overalls

I always played music when my children were little.

When my son was 3, I went upstairs to check on him. He was

pulling clothes out of his dresser drawer. I asked "What are you doing?"  He said "I want to wear a "Grapevine shirt" ."

He was dressed in his OshKosh overalls and a tee shirt. Every day he would want a "Grapevine shirt", like what he saw on the album cover.

He learned to play guitar when he was 9 and was in a band as a teenager. He no longer wears plaid flannel shirts.

The Beatles.

They are chicken soup for my soul.

I have to tell you a quick story. Back in '63, in elementary school, the nuns told us not to listen to the Beatles because they were Communists, bad influences because of their hair, their saying 'yeah' instead of yes, etc.

As an 8 yr old I tried to listen to authority. So even if the music was catchy I tried not to like them.

Come 1964...A Hard Days Night movie is released. My older sister took me to see it. Lets just say I went into the movie a borderline denier and exited the movie totally IN LOVE WITH GEORGE & the Beatles. A lifelong love affair for me.

No other group comes close for me.

The Beatles and Steely Dan.

@Regal Bee It's nice to see someone else likes Steely Dan. I play them in the car a lot and sometimes to exercise, along with the Beatles.
