Online Surveys

Curios is anyone has (or know anyone who has) joined one of these online survey sites for cash and/or points or whatever. It seems like a legitimate need by big companies, so I suspect some of these sites might be legit. For any of you who have tried, what were your experiences? Not looking to make a lot a money, just a few extra bucks for fun stuff as a side gig. When I cant sleep at night, and it is 2-3 am, might as well do something useful instead of play solitaire! I have been on focus group studies before, but that was directly through a hospital.
