Re: One of the best things I got from the Q board is....

Hello, cherry. Smiley Happy

I've gotten to post with other people about Nick Chavez and QVC created a Nick Chavez sub-forum. I very much enjoy posting there.

I also like the Pet Lovers sub-forum. Learned a few things about animals.

~Nick Chavez is my favorite vendor on QVC and Alberti Popaj is my favorite QVC host.~
Nick Chavez now has his own sub-forum under the My Favorite Brand folder

 Recipes and home decor tips come to mind.  What I like is that if you ask a question, someone will know the answer.

Hi. How did you make fun with an anonymous poster? I'm really curious because I thought everyone was anonymous on the boards.

          @libbyannE, I've heard the forums originally were set up with an option for email addresses to be displayed.    I started posting here in 6/2010.   By that time they had tightened up security/privacy, and sharing personal contact info was no longer (is no longer) permitted.

@dooBdoo

I'm very open about my life . . . after all,  I have nothing better to do than sit here all day, pretty much alone.  However, I do realize I leave myself open to much criticism at times.  I have a couple of things that have happened to me of late . . . and sometimes I even write and post them . . . and then go back and delete them because I'm pretty sure they will be attacked by several others, for no other reason than it was me who posted it.  So I'm doing it less and less.

I am not saying I don't get a lot of support and love because I do, I feel I have a lot of friends here, and I will admit I would be lost without them.  And, as you say, I have learned a lot from folks wiser than me.

The friends!!!  Omg yes, the people.  I met one of my dearest friends here!  Also I got the worlds best and most authentic recipes for Red Beans and rice here.  It is a classic and probably one of the best things I have made.  The recipe was so well written, with details in building the flavor, and exact timing on each step.  It worked

Re: One of the best things I got from the Q board is....

My new found appreciation for tea came from Noel7.  I previously could not find anything without if flaring up my allergies but eventually did find some and now drink a few times each day or evening.

Secondly, another thanks to Noel7 for asking me if my brother could not assist my stepmom when I was sick in 2015 with pneumonia....it seemed incomprehensible to me at the time for a variety of reasons but they did come together and he lived with her for nearly a year before she passed.
