Re: One of My Favorite All Time QVC Purchases

I have so many favorites. The one I'm enjoying right now is my Oriental Good Luck Tree. It was about $30., and arrived tiny, but healthy looking. This baby has taken many twists and turns, but today stands about 2-1/2 ft. tall, beautiful and healthy. I've been pretty lucky, too.

Another I use almost daily is my Cubii. What a great gift of health. I never feel "guilty" sitting too much and watching tv." I do 10,000 daily, weight 105, and have good strong healthy circulation.  It has resistances to give a good work out and cardio.

I hope the Q keeps showing us new and special products and would miss it were it ever gone!

Re: One of My Favorite All Time QVC Purchases

I still have the original Cook's Essential OVAL pressure cooker.  It was a TSV many, many years ago, and it's still going strong.  Love the oval shape and, unlike people who own an Instapot, I don't have to deal with 'burn' notices, etc., that I'm reading many who own the Instapot deal with.

It has to be at least 20 years since buying the Ron Popeil Professional Showtime Rotisserie from QVC. It's the big one that fits on a stand and can be used indoors or outdoors.

We mostly use it for prime rib, cooked one tonight as needed to get it out of the freezer. Will be making prime rib & barley soup with leftovers this weekend as it will be raining, so good!

Ron Popeil was a favorite he was quite the inventor.

@rockygems123 , I use my Popeil Rotisserie for turkey breast . It stays juicy, but has that nice crispy crust.

@QVCkitty1

That sounds wonderful I think I'll try it.

Do you use a rub and / oil or marinade?

@rockygems123 , I just rub it with olive oil.

Re: One of My Favorite All Time QVC Purchases

What a fun subject here!!

I had 3 Nescos--the oval 6 qt, the 4qt and the big mama 18qt with many accessories that I had with it. Used them all the time--I  gave the big one to a local church as I was moving and had no room for storage. I did use the small one  alot as well as the oval --I donated them both.

The one Ron P. appliance I bought was the pasta maker--in fact I still have it--it worked great and I made pasta alot. So many fun shapes and used to flavor the pasta with various veggie juice.

I have the Slices Perfect --a cutting board with an insert for different thicknesses and a very long knife to slice up whole loaf breads--I use that every day on bagels.. It came from the 50/50 tour in 1995. Also the Fasta Pasta --that I have use exclusively for cooking pasta in the micro wave. I use that all the time too.

I remember that cutting board!  I have the Magic knife that has adjustments for thicknesses too.

The 50/50 tours were so much fun!

Re: One of My Favorite All Time QVC Purchases

Way back when, in the "olden days" of QVC they sold so,etching that was an ultra violet hand held pain reliever.  You plugged it in, and the bulb on end became red and you rubbed on pain area?  Does anyone remember the actual name of this?  I would love one today. I loaned it to my daughter, and well....that was that, lol!  I have looked online but don't seem to have it worded properly. I believe it was sold by sears at QVC.
