One door closes another one opens?

Since I cannot now order on line as the ‘new form’ suddenly will not let me place order - I know I can use the phone but prefer online - it has made me look at other vendors.

I have solely ordered from Q for a long time but all this aggravation with trying and failing to order made me decide to check out other online shopping and am loving what I am seeing particularly Talbots, J, Jill  where, I know, a lot of you shop  - am still investigating.

So, all in all, this turns out to be a new door opening for me and possibly the closing of this door.  We shall see.

Q really needs to sort out it’s website, too many changes that do not work and no-one to assist when it goes wrong - make it very hard to spend money.

There are a lot of other great sites to shop so have fun.The only thong I don’t like is looking through all of the merchandise page after page...sometimes I think it is faster mall shopping.

@dulwichQVC does need to sort itself out, but so do the retailers you are turning to.

Do investigate.  Both the chains you mentioned had stores in a large mall near my home.  I never managed to spend any money in either even during the years I used to be shopping every week!   And both chains went out of business in that mall, so I certainly was not the only dissatisfied potential customer.

I already dislike buying my clothing long distance -  I'll stick with what I know works for me.

@dulwich I can only buy Ts clothes online if I've first tried them on in stores. Sizing is very tough because of inconsistencies. I need to always try three on too on any garment; large, large petite and medium. Pants run very long (even petite) and are very hard to fit. They have nothing like Lori's great joggers we have so many of. Closest thing to LOGO is the T by Talbots line. Again, sizing is very difficult.

Of course, if we're talking about retailers who've closed their brick and mortar stores, one would have to count QVC among them. At last count, I seem to recall they were even closing their own studio store and most of their oulets have been closed.

I have a similar experience.  I wanted to buy some rather expensive long-sleeve Skinny Tees and a clearance tank set when QVC had their free shipping event a couple of weeks ago, but by the time I got around to ordering their website crashed.  I was really peeved about it, but then decided to search around and ordered the same long sleeve shirts direct from the vendor and saved $20 per shirt.  I decided I really didn't need the set QVC had on clearance and saved that money too.

I buy from Loft, Talbots and Anthropologie.  I try not to pay full price for anything.  I do order from all three places and can return at the store if necessary.  I also buy from the stores.

There are usually more choices shopping at the stores on-line sites.  I frequently see "on-lin only" next to merchandise.  I love J Crew - good quality, great flash sales.  I also shop at Talbots, Gap, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Anthropologie - they all have B&M stores at my local mall so returns are free.
