Once again, I'm having an aol.com problem

The same problem happened months ago and is happening today and I have no idea what's causing it or how to fix it.  Maybe someone here might be able to help?  I use aol to read my emails and to check news stories. I'm on an Acer chromebook.  The message I get today when I go on aol.com is "Edge - not found".   I don't even have Edge installed on my chromebook!      I cleaned the browser, restarted the chromebook, totally logged off then on again and the problem is still there.   Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?  Thanks for any help/ideas.

@newjersey.  All I can say 8s good luck.  I gave up AOL years ago after spending countless hours on the phone with people in India who I could barely understand.  After extensive conversation that could last an evening they'd apparently conclude they didn't know how to fix your problem and hang up on you.  Then you got to start all over again.

@Kachina624 , yes, I remember years ago my niece had a Dell computer and it had a problem, and her and I went through of hours on the phone with someone from India, or that had an Indian accent.   We got nowhere with this person.

Is it April Fool's Day today?   Now my aol problem (at least for now) is fixed.  I can sign into aol.com and read their news stories.  Weird, weird, weird.....

Re: Once again, I'm having an aol.com problem

I have had AOL e-mail since there was AOL. I hate Gmail. I still use AOL, have tens of thousands of e-mails accumulated over the years. Strangely enough, I can always find what I want, save what I want and really have no complaints. I run Windows 10 on my older desktop, with IE. I hate Edge, but when I work remotely on my desktop through my firm’s network, it apparently needs Edge so it has installed itself. (I kept deleting it, but finally gave up.) Whatever browser it is using, I am not having any problems with AOL. Yes, I am old. But I am fairly tech savvy. I just believe in “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

Re: Once again, I'm having an aol.com problem

@catwoman48 I agree with you. Have had AOL since we got computers at home. Have had no trouble. Never had to call India to experience that.

Every  morning I can log in and no trouble. And yes I am also old. I was set up with a GMail account when I got a new phone awhile ago. Have no idea what my password is. So I use AOL and am just fine.

@newjersey sorry can't help you because I never had a problem with AOL.

Re: Once again, I'm having an aol.com problem

I much, much, much prefer my AOL email account to any others.

It is my primary account,  but I have a few inferiors (like Gmail) as backups and secondaries.
