I think mice are cute... they don't bother me. I have not seen them in my house, although I have seen them in the attic. I leave them alone. Brown Recluse spiders, they bother me much more.

I will give you my address and you can come get them. I just saw 2 more behind the fridge run to laundry room. I am actually thinking of going and sleeping in our car in the driveway. Brrrr well this is a good way to lose weight, I cant eat!

LOL... would if I could. They are mice. They are not going to attack you, they are more afraid of you, than you are of them. Call an exterminator or get some mouse traps.... seems kind of cruel since they probably aren't doing much harm, but it is your house and you need to feel comfortable. You could always get a cat...

My cat is an excellent mouser; he can kill a mouse with one bite to the neck. He doesn't torture it to death playing with it and he doesn't eat it. He puts the dead mouse next to his bowls of food. He's Siamese so he goes on and on about it.

A friend has a Persian who is a good mouser too but he eats the mouse's head, she's not best pleased about that.

I wouldn't have any problem w that. lol. Just saw another mouse. Where are the cats? SLEEPING. I hope this exterminator can come tomorrow. Everyone (kids who don't live here, husband and my friend) think Im over reacting. Im so sick I threw up once and am going to again. I doubt I will sleep.

Good grief... go stay in a hotel, call an exterminator. They are mice.... not vicious critters. I guess we all have our own phobias... if I had snakes crawling around I would freak out. Hope you get your mouse problems handled.

My cat won't kill a fly lol. The cat I had before him killed too much. I know it's hard to rest when you have mice in the house but I'd try to. Hopefully they will be gone tomorrow.

I would be feeding those cats a whole lot less!

We had a mice problem and got a box of poison pellets. They took them and hid them down in the basement.

They got in the piano and made a mess. They were in my oven pulling out the insulation and peeing on it. Smelled really good when you turned it on. gag And left a general mess in the kitchen.

We called the exterminator.

Saw a show on tv about mice. You would not believe how little of an opening they need in order to squeeze through.

Shory..........hate to alarm you BUT.............if you have one mouse and now you've seen more.........chances are you have about 13 mice........or in that number.........people NEVER have just one mouse........they are prolific breeders and breed very very young.............................................raven

I feel bad for you, I had one years ago in an apartment and hid in bed the whole night. I had to pee so bad but there was no way I was putting one foot on the floor. Rough night. I then moved into a rental house that had tons of mice in the basement. It took me a year to get them all. I set traps but I would make my male neighbor come over and throw them away for me. Give me a bug any old time.

My last cat caught a live mouse in his mouth and carried it around with him. I finally had to pick up my cat and take them outside and shake the cat half to death so he would release it.

I think your husband acted like a jerk! What are they good for anyway! Glad you are getting it handled.

Shorty I can so feel your pain and anxiety, I too have mice phobia. I was relaxing one afternoon and out of the corner of my eye saw a mouse scurry across the dining room floor I immediately called my husband, who was having a day with the boys and told him to get home right away, I got the same reaction you received from your DH. That happened when we lived in the North, we now live in Florida, land of snakes, lizards, and rats. You can just imagine if I loathe mice how I react at the thought of seeing a rat!!! Thankfully this is something I have not had to deal with, thus far, and I hope not to EVER!!! So I pray that this ordeal for you is over very soon and that the extermination is done as swift possible. Good Luck!!

I'm with you OP...many years ago we had a mouse in the house and I went to my parents house 150 miles away for the weekend.......my dh took care of the mouse. Then just recently we had another mouse....in the kitchen, my dh kept telling me mice don't come in the house in the summer....well one did, there were droppings everywhere!! We never saw that mouse but once we did a bit of 'mice control' he has not been back. Sorry you and your husband argued over it but once in a while my dh and I argue over dumb things as well, they just don't understand, ha!
