@Patriot3

I loved the USA outfits, too! The Ralph Lauren jackets have heating elements inside.

The jacket (up to $4000; slim jeans $280; and sweater $280) are available on eBay.

IMO, Italy won the fashion competition wearing jackets designed by Armani.

The navy used was striking in the lighting of the arena.

Re: Olympics Opening Ceremony!

It was nice but I've seen nicer.  I'm not feeling it for the Olympics a lot of political overtones, the Russian doping.  I usually enjoy the skating but there is no passion and the winners seem predetermined.  Bradie Tinell just doesn't have the passion and what I've seen from our skaters, not exciting or exceptional.  I do think Medvedeva is just so elegant and no one will surpass her unless something unforeseen happens which I hope does not....she deserves the win; you see the ballet training with Russian skaters.  I did love the Italian pair in ice dancing but I guess the Canadians will win but they don't excite me.  The Italian pair were cute and animated....

Re: Olympics Opening Ceremony!

I guess because I have never liked Matt Lauer since the day he appeared on the screen and Bob Costas was too overly dramatic for me (and his toupee distracting), that I am appreciating Mike Terico just being himself and not attempting an over the top faux melodramatic delivery.

Re: Olympics Opening Ceremony!

When they were singing John Lennon's Imagine during the opening ceremony, I was thinking why cant all of the countries come together all the time like we do for the Olympics? At any rate, it was a beautiful opening ceremony.

Re: Olympics Opening Ceremony!

Getting ready to watch the figure skating short program!  I am interested to see what the North Korean couple brings.  T would be awesome if the American married couple (the Knierims) would win it on Valentines Day!
