I love the Olympics, so many talented accomplished athletes.

@50Mickey   Yes, I saw some of the opening ceremony and I thought it was nice.  The drone display was very cool.  I especially loved seeing all the little kids with John Lennon's Imagine playing.  That song always strikes a chord with me and pulls on my heart strings.

The drones made me stop and look. I just had it on for background noise until then. Was so clever that they got to look like the globe with all the continents.

I liked the guys going through the actions for each event in the Olympics.

And glad to see Sadaharu Oh carrying the torch.

I am usually in awe of the "Parade of Nations" at the beginning.  I like to look at the choices in team attire (as to its creativity) and colorfulness.  I love it.

It seems weird to see everyone waving at the cardboard people. I always love seeing what each team is wearing as they enter and also learning about countries I have never even heard of sometimes. I am glad they didn't postpone it. It's one more symbol of normalcy our world really needs right now.

I heard, ( I forgot where) that once an athlete has finished competing, they have five days to leave the country.

They couldn't wait because of all the money that was already spent about 4 million.. Yes! I am watching and plan to watch as much as possible, support USA...
