Olympic coverage-should things change? (Poss. Spoilers)

According to HLN news, people are mad about the Olympic coverage, because NBC is airing the Olympics in prime time for ratings. People are saying this isn't the 70's. Because, it is all but impossible to avoid spoilers in this day and age because if you turn on your computer, cell, tv, etc. the results are talked about or posted. Soo should tv land change the way they broadcast, and have the events on as they are happening "due to modern times" of social media? I say yes because its very hard to avoid the results ahead of time with time differences and late broadcasting of the events. I have walked out of the room during our local sports, and tried to sign online without looking @ the main pages..lol. But it IS virtually impossible "not" to catch spoilers by accident. (PS. On the other hand people ARE still tuning in whether they saw spoilers or not).
