I just heard that she has passed, this news makes me so sad. I liked her music and she seemed like a sweetheart. She fought a good fight, condolences to her family, may she Rest In Peace.

Oh mercy this is hard to hear.  I was 16 when I saw grease and I never gave up hope that she and John would come back as parents or grandparents someday for a sequel.  She fought the disease so hard.  Hopelessly devoted to her memory.

She was 73.

ABC news stated to return for more updates, little is known.

What a beautiful woman!

Very sad news.  She certainly fought valiantly for so long.

May her sweet soul rest in peace.

She was the ultimate warrior.

Olivia never lost her sweetness and light but she fought tooth and nail through every set back. She was determined and was a force to be reckoned with.

She did so much good and was an enduring talent. A loss for her family and for all who admired, respected and cared about her.

Rest peacefully dear Olivia. You will be in our prayers.

I still remember the first song of hers I ever heard, in 1971: If Not For You. What a beautiful voice.

She also recorded, with Cliff Richard, my favorite duet, the beautiful Suddenly.

R.I.P., Olivia.
