@Irshgrl31201, I don't boil any vegetable.  I think I roast pretty much all of them.  Roasting just enhances the flavor, IMO.

I begged my husband to try beets.  He wouldn't for the longest time.  Finally, he gave in and loves them now.  LOL

I like olives, I just don't like them cooked in a recipe.

I don't have strong "olive feelings" either way. I prefer plain black olives for munching and cooking as they have a milder impact than the green ones. I'm not at all into "olive bars" nor would shop them, but that's not to say I haven't had olives from a specialty bar that I liked; it's just too much choice and while I might find that I enjoy 1-2 specially marinated, special content ones, I don't care enough to seek them out. I love gorgonzola with anything, so I'm sure I'd love a gorgonzola-stuffed olive.

martini

A thing of beauty is a dirty vodka martini with extra olives.

I love olives both green and black....and I like the olives that are mixed up with different spices....great on a salad...

Are they green olives stuffed with squid?  Guess I never came across this variety at the olive bar.
