Pockybook for purse, was one and zink for sink, others that don't come to mind right now! Wish is had written these down, for my own parents and grands and aunts and uncles from those days. Sad but you don't even think about this when you are younger!

@greamy - My Mom used to call a wallet a pocketbook and a sister in law who lives on the east coast still calls a purse a pocketbook.
