@I am still oxox

I love going through all of our old photos too.  They're priceless to me.❤️.

I bought that device QVC sells, The Clickfree, to try and digitize these old pictures.  However, I've only done a few so far.  I know I need to do the rest just for peace of mind.

There's some very old photos of my parents wedding she's got in a frame that sunlight brightly hits.  They're beginning to fade.😔

Those photos are wonderful.  I have my great grand father and GGM's wedding photograph.

I've got pictures from the early 1800's of relatives. Some are on tin. It's interesting looking at the styles of the day.

I was in awe when I first saw family members on my hubby's side on tin photos that my late mother in law had shown me of her great uncles some in military uniforms, I was just so mesmerized looking at them.  Mother in law has since passed and one of my hubby's sisters has these tin photos now a treasure for sure.

I have boxes of old photos that I periodically go through and decide which ones go.

I am the oldest of the oldest on my fathers side of the family and the only remaining grandchild on my mothers side.

It may not be a popular decision, I've asked a few times if anyone wanted them and when the answer is no I throw them out.  I'm leaving as little as possible for our daughter to do when the time comes.  She would have no clue who the people in the pictures were except for my siblings, mother and father.
