Well, er, it’s exercise wear, isn’t it? Think Zella (Nordstrom) or Lululemon or Athleta. The leggings are supposed to be very slim, and the tops are usually either quite form fitting or somewhat oversized (to wear with the slim bottoms).
@jonbon OK......but.........I would NEVER exercise in PUBLIC, either!!!!! di

These look super uncomfortable and your skin wouldn’t breathe, ick... Does this make me an Influencer too? Cool!

I really could care less about influencers, bloggers, etc. I would like to hear from manufacturers or experts in their fields, not people who start a blog or have a youtube channel. Just not interested in the least....

The only thing new about influencers is the name. It's just marketing and advertising. Lucille Ball used her name and face to advertise pretty much everything from Chesterfield cigarettes to Dupont Lucite house paint. She was an influencer. They paid her to advertise those products because she could influence people to buy them. She certainly wasn't an expert on house paint.
Modern influencers are just generally less famous and more numerous, maybe more specialized to some extent. If you've got a product to target at fifteen to eighteen year old girls and there's a person who they all follow on Instagram and Twitter, you hire that person to promote your product. People older than twenty or younger than fifteen may have never heard of the person, but their target audience knows them.
It's no different than what's been done for decades. Find someone your target audience/buyers relate to and use them to sell your product. QVC hosts are influencers if you get picky about it.

Lori Loughlin's daughter was an "influencer", that's why she didn't want to go to her hs classes or college.
There are dogs on Instagram who are influencers and make a great living for their owners. Doug the Pug and Tinkerbelle are two examples.

@TY wrote:Social media is a wild, wild, west! Anyone can be an "influencer" or call themselves an influencer. What separates the good ones from the rest is how ethical and honest they are when they are advertising or showing a product to you whether they are using youtube, instagram, a blog, twitter, or any other form of communication.
Those influencers who don't disclose sponsorships or collaborations or who don't disclose when a post, video, or tweet is an "ad" are unethical to me. There are plenty of honest and ethical people who are influencers though. You pretty much can sort the wheat from the chaff so to speak if you watch enough youtube videos or scroll through instagram or twitter posts.
Very well said, but Im not wasting my valuable time trying to figure out if they are legit and independent OR just trying to sell goods for a sponsor which is what much of this social media stuff is....just another "used car gimmick" in a different platform....

Never heard of the brand. Must not be a very good influencer.
Per Leah, this is just another NEW IN-HOUSE brand from QVC....specializing in "athleisure styles"...
