I love animals, cats and dogs. As some of you know, my beloved kitty, Homer, passed away about 2 weeks ago. I also have two pugs, who are the apples of my eye and I consider them my kids. So I said to my husband, "I think I want another cat" and "You know, there are so many homeless, unwanted animals and we have enough room and enough financially and enough love". So I went to the county animal shelter today (a kill shelter, btw) and adopted a "creamsicle" cat. We will get him next week after he's been neutered and fully vetted. Is he Homer? No, but Homer was one in a million and can never be replaced.
