OK so yes, I love the heat and humidity but wow did Mother Nature toast us up today here on MD's coastal area.  Just walked outside from one building to the next here at work.  The papers I had in my hands felt wet and limpy.  Just checked the humidity on my weather app - 94% - dew point at 73 - temp about 80...

Even my wavy hair went flat!!!  This is what we call sit and sweat...

For me, the humidity is worse than the heat...not my favorite time of year. Smiley Tongue

It was 101°  at midnight...and now its 102° around 11 a.m.

Humidity is 23%...and that's kinda high and muggy for Phoenix.

Even 75 degrees with high humidity drains me. Today is 75 and low humidity, so it it feels wonderful.

@bmorechick

I'm in Charles County in Southern, MD, and have been out running errands all morning.  Yikes!  My clothing felt wet and my hair was frightening.

Talk about Steam Heat!

I know you love the heat, but I'm counting the days until autumn.

It feels like a wet blanket placed on me when I step outside and the sun is not even up yet.

Ninety degrees, 76 percent humidity here.  Gag.  It's usually 90 to 95 with 50 or a little more humidity percent by this time, which is ok.

And 100's are right around the corner!

@Desertdi.  We're supposed to have 101° today but the humidity will be very low.  It's still hotter than hades.   Hibernation time.

I don't know how people deal with it. I was visiting my niece last week in South Carolina, and I thought it was awful. She told me that it was actually decent and that I was getting a break. OK, if you say so..

No thank you. Ill keep my Southern California Dry desert heat.

Today we are going to be a toasty 104 degrees. I will stay inside with my AC.
