It was a gorgeous, hot, sunny 90 degree all day.  So, now it's almost time to go home and........it's pitch black outside, windy as all get out with baseball size hail coming down!  I swear it sounds like, the sky is being ripped apart!  Of course, I left the balcony door open this morning.  The screen is probably ripped to shreds if we this weather is down where I live.

@Chrystaltree2

I hope everything is okay at home.

I'm at work in Boston.  Mother nature is quite the trickster.  We has 20 minutes of scary "the sky is falling" weather with the biggest hail stones I've ever seen and now it's back to being a bright, gorgeous sunny day.  It's so hot out that the streets are drying out rather quickly.  In 20 minutes, you won't even be able to tell that we had that event.  I hesitate to call it a storm.  It was ferocious but it came and sent so fast.  I do hope my house was as fortunate......

Hope you found everything at home ok.

I'm in CT and the clouds rolled in this afternoon, but nothing happened.

Sounds like what we had last June 2014 here. I was at the hospital visiting my wife and a doctor came in and told me where he had come from and it was close to where we live.

Here room was on the South Side of the hospital and the sun was shinning brightly. He told me if I live North I'd better bet going. Said goodbye to my wife and headed out.

As soon as I got around the North side of the hospital it looked like it was the middle of the night and it was about 4 in the afternoon.

I went a bit over the speed limit(4mph)and just made it home in time to close things up and beat getting our little car beat up by the huge hail coming down. Had it not been for that doctor? Car would have paid the price for sure.

Did over $15,000 damage to our home and took till the Fall to get it fixed and painted. What a mess.
