What matters to others does not have to be important to you.  We all have different opinions on topics.  No need to let this bother you.

@151949

As mentioned initially, it's actually losing the avatar that I created, which is better than being a milk toast grey on grey innocuous female/male.  Right now I'm QVC's version of a male.

I really don't care about # of posts and have never wanted or needed to reference a record of my posts (wouldn't even know how to do that).  But for those of us who have been around for over ten years, there is more to one's identity than a nic.

Edited to state "Well shut my mouth!"  Someone re-established my avatar.  How about them apples?!

Webmaster/Moderator Staff:  Many thanks for re-establishing my personal forum information and avatar, after it was necessary for me to change my email address and house address, which challenged the QVC system.

Thanks, again. ~Rebecca

Hi sfnative,

Sorry to hear this. I went through the same thing when they switched to this "upgrade(?)". Coudn't get "hckynut(john)", so had to start anew with "hckynutjohn".

Glad to see you either way.

Best to you and yours,

You made it a big deal when you lost one of your accounts.

But, you could have gotten it back per the Mod who asked you to email him or her, Mr. John.

OP--I wish you luck with your move.  Just think of it as the last time QVC will tick you off at your old place.

Re: Oh, for cryin' in the beer...

Hi Everyone,

Well, shut my mouth!

I up and moved and was away from my laptop for a number of days, so now I'm back to being a grey male new member once again.

***

At least in our new place we don't hear the police, fire trucks and ambulances heading east into bad country 24/7, coupled with metro diesel buses less than 1/2 block away.

Though many can't stand squirrels, I'm glad to have them in our new backyard, since we no longer have kitties, which I miss very much.
