Oh Lordy I got “Hit on”

It's been a minute for this one, since I'm 68 years old. I mentioned earlier we are at the beach condo. It's been raining, so there's nothing to do. My husband says I'm going to ride out over the bridge to Home Depot... need such and such to fix a door in the condo. Well I love me a HD, so I said I'll go with you cause I'm bored to death.

i was in the paint aisle and a man, about my age I'm guessing says to me "whatcha call them pants you wearing? Tights?" He had a strong southern draw - not native to this area. I had on my workout wear, tank top, HOKA running shoes. I said they are workout pants. He says, "well, you working them and you sure are pretty." I had on lipstick and blush...been on the porch all day. Hair was wild curly in the 98% humidity...you can just imagine. At "you sure are pretty" hus was rounding just in time to say she sure is...ha ha ha ha - I said he has to say that cause he's my husband. The poor guy apologized all over himself, blubbering and stuttering. My husband said no worries man and we headed to check out laughing all the way. He said what was that??? I said awww hon you remember - he was flirting 😌

I am smiling at your encounter with " another man" 😊 you must have really been rocking those workout clothes. Good for you! I'm glad your husband was good natured about it.
