I was never a cat person either. I always had dogs. When my last dog died two of my neighbor's cats decided they'd rather live with me than with my neighbor. I'd find them laying outside my back door waiting for me when I get home from work. They finally got control of their cats, but I had developed a liking for the felines and shortly after that adopted a cat of my own. So, you never know. Sometimes a dog person turns into a cat person.

Oh my dear sweet cali......the same to you and yours.  I was just about to sign out for the night.  It is unusual for me to be up this late.  Still undergoing the treatments.....will be on them the rest of my life.....that is what my oncologist tells me....unless they come up with a pill or something......  That does get old after this length of time.

@x Hedge......that is so true.  I was always a dog person until my husband moved in with his 2 cats.

I rarely get on here anymore...signed in to peek at my account and thought I would stop by the boards for a minute,so glad i did!  I am sorry you have to be on treatments for the rest of your life...you are one strong lady and i have always admired you for that....I am okay, don't wanna complain lol...so glad to chat with you , i was headed to bed myself , love you , xo

Great and happy story. A very happy ending for you and Mr Lucky. We have many similar stories about how we ended up at one time being owned by thirteen loving felines.

Here is a picture of SHOWME'S "Mr. Lucky" when he was a baby.....awwwww, he is a big boy now though.

I just copied this from his picture from the Mr. Lucky thread here.  I know he gives SHOWME comfort and joy.
