@fthunt Good ole Phil and I are in the same state but the overgrown rat is 8 counties away so not exactly neighbors.
They need to leave that furry pest in his burrow.

I was looking at the calendar today and trying to be positive. I mean ok....Feb. is almost half over, right? Extra daylight happens March 14th.
But I think everyone is so fed up with winter because of the pandemic. No shot yet for me or DH (we're on the list) dining out barely open (25%), can't ride our motorcyle or go camping or take a walk without worrying about falling (plus the cold!). Our excitement (other than not having to go to work anymore...yay!) is going to the grocery store or running other errands. I did go to Marshall's with my BFF the other day (we met there) and poked around a little but honestly, this mask thing is getting OLD.
Please don't shame me for expressing my feelings - I'm grateful as **** that I'm ok, but I'm starting to feel anxious - I am an active person and this being cooped up stinks!!
Ok, rant over

This kind of repetitive cycle of Nor'easters. Like every week or so. I don't think it'll be a lot of snow. But yeah...some. Supposed to be more snow on Saturday & Tuesday too if I recall. I don't like it because of hard getting food and just cold & miserable. Almost every day, I'm checking the next 10 days forecast.

Here in Brooklyn, NY, we don't ever ask for "a doozy". We had 17" not even 2 weeks ago. A doozy lasts until April because it stays in cold mounds and never melts.
While I don't enjoy 1-3" every couple of days, it's manageable. A doozy simply cripples the city.
We haven't had trash pickup in 10 days because the sanitation dept is overtaken with snow removal. The streets are full of overflowing trash barrels and a jumble of recycling placed curbside. It's a real doozy of garbage mounds and snow mountains. Nothing anyone would wish for. Not around a dense neighborhood in a big city.
I don't even ask for spring delight. Just to get rid of what's here! Snow AND trash!

It's a strange winter for us here in the Salt Lake valley. No snow to speak of all winter, yet we've had major avalanches in the mountains. The southern part of the state received snow and it's usually warm down there. On this date in 2002 the winter olympics were held here in Utah and we had tons of snow.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 I'm in So Cal and would love some snow to go play outside in... well maybe for a few days then I'd like my 70 degrees back 😀

Me too! I love Winter! ❄☃️🌬
Me Three!! I LOVE the Winter and the snow! It's been many years since we have had any real Winter weather here so this year has been very welcome. We don't really have anywhere to go so it's nice to hunker down inside in front of the fireplace, our favorite foods and drinks, and good movies! Not looking forward to warmer weather and the dreaded heat and humidity of summer...

@Deb213 Count me in the love snow/winter club!! Here in No.Va we have had nothing but nothing burgers for everyone of their "big storm" predictions. And now the stuff they were predicting for the weekend and next week, will just be rain with some "brief" snow showers maybe. We haven't been able to "buy" a snow storm for years. Every time I see a snowflake on my phone for the weather I was getting my hopes up, no more. I'm done. I'm just going to put my boots and coats away. I have worn my winter coat twice and boots 3 times, haven't needed a hat or gloves at all. My Uggs are now my UGHs lol.
