Not really.

When I was in training to be a social worker, we studied MANY cases of transgender (male to female) who were only attracted to women. They were basically lesbians and wanted to interact with other women AS a woman themselves.

I don't either, brii! I think he is enjoying his freedom, letting his hair down (pun intended) and doing what he wants to do for a change. Maybe he missed his chance at being a hippie. I've got male friends that love wearing their hair long. They would probably look strange if they cut it off now.
